Quickstart — FlexiBlocks on Shopify

Get FlexiBlocks running in about 5 minutes after install.

Requirements

• A Shopify store with Online Store (blog and/or pages)
• Staff access to Apps and Themes
• FlexiBlocks installed from the App Store

Steps

1. Open the app

In Shopify Admin, go to Apps → FlexiBlocks. The app opens in a full browser tab (non-embedded).

If Shopify asks you to select a plan, choose Basic (14-day trial, then USD $50/month). See Billing.

2. Pick content to edit

On the Content hub, open any card you need:

• Blog posts — choose a blog, then an article
• Pages — choose an Online Store page
• Products or Collections — description HTML
• Reusable blocks — after installation setup
• Metaobjects — after you enable types in Settings → Content types

Click Edit in FlexiBlocks on a row.

3. Edit and save

Build content with blocks. Click Save.

Saved HTML is written to Shopify’s native body field. Open the same article or page in Shopify Admin and refresh to confirm.

4. One-time installation (reusable blocks only)

If you use Reusable blocks, complete Settings → Installation once before the library is available.

5. Enable the storefront embed

For columns, spacers, YouTube/Vimeo, and commerce blocks on the live store:

1. Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds
2. Enable FlexiBlocks

Or use Settings → Storefront in the app for a deep link.

Without the embed, body HTML still shows, but some layouts may stack or simplify.

Theme editor → App embeds, with FlexiBlocks turned on.
