Install FlexiBlocks on Shopify

This guide covers installing FlexiBlocks and opening the editor for the first time.

Install the app

From the Shopify App Store

1. Open FlexiBlocks on the Shopify App Store.
2. Click Install.
3. Review the permissions screen. FlexiBlocks requests content, product (descriptions), and metaobject access to load and save articles, pages, products, collections, and reusable block definitions — not orders or customers.
4. Click Install app to confirm.

Shopify adds FlexiBlocks to your store and redirects you when install completes.

From a partner install link

1. Open the link while logged into the correct Shopify store.
2. Click Install and confirm permissions.

Open FlexiBlocks

After install:

1. In Shopify Admin, go to Apps.
2. Click FlexiBlocks.

The app opens in a new browser tab. On first open, Shopify may ask you to sign in or authorize — approve to continue.

What happens on install

Step	Result
OAuth	Shopify issues tokens so the app can call the Admin API for your shop
Plan (if required)	Shopify App Pricing may prompt for Basic before the editor loads
Content hub	You can open blog posts, pages, and (after setup) reusable blocks

After install

1. Follow Quickstart to save your first page or article.
2. Complete Settings → Installation if you use reusable blocks.
3. Enable the FlexiBlocks theme app embed — Storefront.

Settings → Installation. Run this once before using reusable blocks.

Uninstall

You can remove the app from Shopify Admin → Apps. Body HTML you saved remains in your store. App metafields and reusable block metaobjects may remain until you delete them in Admin.
